Stopped for lunch on our drive up the canyon. Staff was very friendly. We ordered the ground steak. It was pretty average. Kind of diner food. Bring a picnic if you can.

After driving the Waimea Canyon road to the end, and doing a short hike with views overlooking the Na Pali cliffs, we had lunch at Kokee Lodge Restaurant. The Portuguese bean soup was delicious, the cornbread out of this world, and dthe lilikoi pie was very good! Who would have thought that a park concessionaire could do such a good... More

I camped at the park and ate here a couple of times when the weather wasn't cooperating with my camp cooking. The food is great, the service is prompt, and the prices aren't terrible (even though they could gouge you as they are the only game at the top of the mountain). Get the burger, cooked just right and very... More

Worth a stop to grab a bite and drink while visiting the park. They have a few options to eat, and offer views of the park-like area surrounding the restaurant. The museum is next door and there are gifts here.

Just get the pancakes - with Lilikoi syrup. This is all you need to know. We saw reviews talking about the chili. He ordered the chili. I ordered the pancakes. Best pancakes we ever ate (did you catch the "we"). Tender and fluffy. And the syrup is arguably as good as or better than maple.

We stopped here in 1994 for breakfast and I remembered the pancakes were awesome, so 22 years later we decided to try lunch. It was not a disappointment. The pulled pork sandwich and grilled ham and cheese were better than average. Being Portuguese, I wanted to compare the soup to what I am used to. I would call it a... More

I can't say much about décor or atmosphere, but it is a place where you will find lots of hikers with backpacks and all kinds of visitors enjoying the park. What I can say with confidence is they serve a great bowl of chili. It was the highlight of my day in Waimea. The corn bread was very good too.... More

Walked in and self seated at a table caked in crumbs and grease. Waitress aloof while two other staff sitting around restaurant, all disinterested in providing service. Had to ask to get table wiped, ask for menus, ask to order, ask for water, for bill. Chilli was good but suspended in a bath of oil. The impression was that since... More

We stopped here for a little snack and because the altitude was making me a little queasy. I felt like we were in Oregon not Kauai which was a fun change from the beach. It was a nice little stop over, I have some soup and a gingerale. The museum is very sweet, small but enjoyable.

We drove up here hoping to find breakfast after the two local places,G's and Yumi's in Waimea were closed. We checked the website first and it said they were open at 10:00 AM. We arrived at 10:20 AM only to find a closed sign on the door stating that they had no electricity. We inquired next door at the museum... More
