At the recommendation of a friend, we stopped at this market to get poke, chips & beer - best call ever! Grab our goodies & went to Kekaha Beach where they had covered picnic tables to enjoy. The Poke variety was amazing & the plate lunch offering looked good too.

Located on the scenic Kaumuali Hwy 50, Ishihara Market (not really a restaurant) is a great quick stop near Waimea, Kauai. We stopped here on the way to PMRF and found a wonderful array of fresh seafood, including a large array of delicious Poke. We ran out of time to try all the different Poke types. There is also a... If you're looking for bagels, blintzes or brisket you're in the wrong place. But if you're looking for freshly made poke of many varieties you came to the right place. The deli counter in the back is staffed with knowledgeable help who are only too happy to offer customers a taste of the daily fare. The poke is very good... More

This was our lunch stop on our way back from Waimea Canyon. It turned out to be one our best stops. The deli was full of many different kinds of poke and other delicacies. They were happy to let us try many different things. We settled on about four different kinds of poke, kimchee snails, steamed rice and potatoe Mac... More

We stopped here to pick up lunch after viewing the Canyon. Super friendly people in this small market grocery store. I asked about the different styles of Poke and the woman working the counter let me try a few styles to make sure I would be happy with my selection. I took the Spicy Siracha Poke which was a little... More

Great spot to pick up prepared (or mostly prepared) food items if you're staying at a place where you fix your own meals (like the Cabins at Koke'e). Fresh local food with many Japanese and Hawaiian options. This is primarily a grocery store, so you can do all of your shopping for your food needs here.

Fun, convenient local market. First introduced to us by local guides after kayaking Na Pali coast and we stopped for food and drinks prior to drive back to North Shore. Poke is some of the best on the island and many varieties. Big selection of snacks, drinks, etc for provisions before and after Polihale or Waimea Canyon. Service is great... More
