Centrally located by the airport and great natural food store and deli. The natural store prices are decent and the deli has home made sandwiches & smoothies. JT

My wife and I were looking for a guided hike that was off the beaten path. Randy took us through an ancient bamboo forest, swimming in waterfall filled pools and up to breathtaking views of the pacific. We also followed stream beds wile Randy talked of Hawaiian flora and ancient lore. We had a great time. Please be aware that... More

We ate here for four straight meals before we left Maui. I'm not usually a buffet person, but this was such a good option for a vegan. Super impressive amount of good vegan food. A million times better than the whole foods up the road.

I keep kosher and on Maui, this can be hard to do. I don't know if it can be certified kosher, but it's as close as I can get in terms of eating out, aside from a vegan restaurant that's a litter far away. They said the cheese does not use rennet, which is an animal product from tissue, and... More

Don't skip this one just because you're a meat eater. The kids are vegan (or vegetarian depending upon the day), and I confess even though I love a good steak, I know that cutting out meat is healthier, so I do embrace the vegan/vegetarian angle quite frequently. The days of "tofu and celery" are long gone. There are meat alternatives... More

Nice place to shop but their spicy taro burger was a killer. Awesome food. I wouldn't recommend some of the open kept items but definitely their down to earth burger was awesome.

This place is right by the airport & easy to find. I had the veggie burger & it was delicious. Also pretty big in size! You order at the deli area, pay at the register then sit outside or upstairs.

I was on a search for vegetarian musubi... My friends have raved about musubi on their trips to Hawaii and I didn't want to miss out. Down to Earth was the only place I found Tofu Musubi during my whole trip. I bought it right before embarking on the Road to Hana, which is a 2-3 hour road trip with... More

This is a grocery store full of the kind of food we eat; organic, fresh, gluten free, sustainable, tasty, local. They also have a hot food bar for a great meal. The potatoes were excellent!

This "Health Food" market is huge and has an incredible selection of everything you would expect to find in a supermarket. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly making this a nice "down to earth" place to shop. They have a great selection of nuts for butter creation that ensures really fresh spreads.
