The steak was ok, but their Hula pie dessert was the highlight. It is a huge white ice cream pie with whipped cream, a cookie at the bottom with hot chocolate and nuts on top, wow. One pie for 3 people is enough. Good view over the ocean.

Great menu, great atmosphere and great views. Try the veggie dip appetizer. It's not what I expected at all, but was so much better than I did expect. The calamari was weird, it came out and looked like chicken tenders or mozzarella sticks. Tasted like chicken as well if not for the slightly fishy after taste. The food was fairly... More

We ate here and was a nice lunch. Good setting overlooking the water and the food was decent and although definitely not cheap, wasn't too expensive either. I ate/shared the fish tacos and the calamari. Calamari was dry (I had ones much much better at Coconuts in Kihei the next day) but the tacos were delicious.

We stopped in here for a quick snack before Ulalena show. We had the happy hour drinks and kulua pork cheese fries. The fries were so good a d it's a must try if you love kulua pork, cheese and fries!

We'd spent two weeks on Maui and had eaten in various different places on the island and found Kimos to have the best service and great food.

This restaurant was recommended by several people we knew, so we wanted to give it a try. We arrived early for Aloha Hour, so we could enjoy some appetizers. We were seated directly facing the brutal sunshine at 4:30pm with no umbrella shade. Further, the "discount" appetizers were not that great. Once we finished our apps, we were seated upstairs... Had a table by the water for drinks and pupu's. The pre dinner menu is limited but enough options. We had the pinot noir $5, ribs, calamari and lobster sliders. Nothing special but good enough. Also, finished with hula pie as my other had never had and is a Hawaiian/Kimo and chain property, tradition. Overall a very nice experience.

Really enjoyed the view being right on the ocean watching the cruise ship in the distance and little boats with people snorkeling. Watching the sun set! Very romantic. Best calamari we ever had. Coconut breaded fish over macadamia nut rice with peanut Tai sauce delicious .

Had the Mahi Mahi prepared Kimo style - it was excellent. No complaints at all about the food. In fact, superlative is how I would describe dinner from a taste standpoint. Only detriment to eating at Kimo's was the live music. We were sitting at the far end of their first floor, as far away as could be from the... More

Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.
