Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.
We first came to Kimo’s on our honeymoon 34 years ago. Now we bring our family here when ever we come to Maui. The food is always delicious and the service never disappoints. The setting and view is what makes Kimo’s special. Come early for...More
We wanted somewbere a little more casual but still good food. Kimo’s was perfect. The prime rib wasn’t the fanciest I have ever had but was delicious. And we were beyond full with all of the sides as well. The service was great and fun.
Save room for the Hula Pie dessert! There is a traditional one with hot fudge and Oreo crust & macadamia nuts and then a chef special which we always try that was pumpkin ice cream, macadamia nuts, graham cracker crust.... it was delicious. Beautiful sunsets...More
Stopped in for an early dinner, arriving just toward the end of the Tasting Menu hours. The Tasting Menu offered choice of appetizer, entree and dessert for $27. These were smaller than usual dinner portions, but this was ideal for my wife and myself, since...More
This is my son and daughter-in-law's favorite place to eat in Lahaina. The fish is caught fresh daily so the menu changes based on the catch. The fish preparations typically come with rice, but they graciously substituted potatoes for the rice. The service is exceptional....More
We made a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner here: we were seated properly in with a great location right on the water. Our server was prompt and very friendly made a great wine recommendation and generally ensured that we were very well taken care of. The...More
Good food but very crowded small restaurant. Made reservations a day before for 6:30 dinner expecting seat near water. We were seated at a “reserved” table in the farthest back corner. Those without reservations were seated near the water. So if you want a good...More
Even with reservations, the place gets packed. The menu has a good selection of food. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu & how dishes were prepared. Because it gets crowded, it was noisy & difficult to carry on a conversation at our table....More

If you are on your honeymoon, I would drive 20 minutes north to Merriman’s near Kapalua Bay. It is truly one of the prettiest points to eat on the island and the food is way better than Mommas Fish House. We were there last month and they accommodated us with a special table for our anniversary. Check it out. You won’t regret it!
