Aloha Mixed Plate is in a beautiful location within steps to the beach in Lahaina, Maui. The menu consists of a wide variety of items for every palate, including Hawaiian mixed plates, sandwiches, saimin and Asian dishes, and tasty beer, wine and mixed drinks. Ask for a "pig grilled cheese", which will blow your diet, but is a mouthwatering grilled... More

We ate here 4 times on our trip. Twice with my son and twice on our own. The location and view are amazing. Good spot for affordable drinks and local food.

Wonderful breakfast. All 6 people in our group loved their meal. Personally, I had the Ranchero omelette.

My family ate at Aloha Mixed Plate twice on our vacation, once for breakfast and once for dinner. We were pleased with both meals. For breakfast you have to get anything that comes with a scoop of their fried rice. It has bacon and some other stuff mixed in and is so yummy. The omelets are very tasty. The only... More

My last visit to Maui was in 2011. My girlfriend introduced me to this place and I was totally impressed! The crispy teriyaki was amazing! I liked it so much we had 3 meals there. Move the calendar to December 2016. To my disappointment, Crispy Beef Teriyaki had been removed from the menu, BUT I tried their Loco Moco. It... More

I have eaten here twice now, several years apart and cannot for the life of me see why everyone raves about this place. I think people like it because it is inexpensive by Maui standards, but the food quality is not there because of the lower prices. I had the Teriyaki Beef Plate Lunch and really didn't enjoy it. The... More

When I visit Maui, I usually drop in a few times during my visit. I like the Chow Funn, but the kalbi ribs are great also.

In the early days of the sugar plantations, lunch was a simple affair. Plantation workers gathered in the fields for their mid-day meal. The Japanese laborers would bring teriyaki beef with rice and pickled vegetables. Seated next to them might be their Filipino neighbors with the traditional dish adobo or perhaps a pork or chicken stew. The Koreans had their kalbi or marinated ribs and the Chinese a rice noodle and vegetable dish called chow fun. Hawaiians were known for their kalua pig, roasted in an underground oven called an imu. It wasn't long before they began to share their foods with one another and the "mixed plate" was born. Aloha Mixed Plate features true "Local" traditional plate lunches with open air seating directly on the ccean. We are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
