This is our 6th visit to Maui and we always stay on the West side of the island. AMP quickly became our favorite go-to spot on our last visit, recommended by a local. We have had many different dishes on the menu and all have been great, especially for the price. We are currently staying at the Hyatt Regency and... More

Love this place. They have a great happy hour from 2-6. Their regular prices are also very reasonable. All their plates are big enough to share. We ate their last night at sunset and enjoyed the beautiful view. Also next door is the Luau and you can hear the live music and see a glimpse of the performers. All our... More

I've found it! I've found the best local food in Lahaina. I've lived here 5 months and have tried several places with moderate pricing. Aloha Mixed Plate is not walking distance from my house so I didn't go there until today. What a mistake! In total, I have lived in the Islands 13 years so know a little about local... More

Awesome food fair prices. Great views! We were missing our "A" Maui Ribs from Kihei and these guys do a great job with theirs. Really yummy. Cant Choose have a mixed plate. My husband and I shared dinners at most places but here I had my own. I love their mixed mac & potato salad too. Had money left over... More

The atmosphere at this little place is awesome. The food was very delicious and decently priced. The wait can get long during dinner rush but the Mai-Tai's can hold you over till your table is ready ;) highly recommend if you are in the area.

Since I had to go on the hunt for breakfast, as my bed and breakfast turned out to not serve any (see separate review for Garden Gate), ended up walking for blocks. Thankfully, found this gem. Great menu choices and reasonable pricing. Had the pork omelet. Very tasty. Good coffee. Nice deck with ocean view. Staff were pleasant. Wish had... More

Enjoyed great breakfast omelettes and smoothies in a beachside setting. It was a perfect place to relax on a lovely morning over breakfast with friends. Easy parking too was a bonus!

Sit by the sea & stuff your face with some of the best food on the island! Friendly service, awesome food & drinks, get lei'ed, all reasonably priced... smallish parking lot is my only complaint.

Stopped in two times so far on this trip and the quality of the food hasn't changed!! Amazing as usual!! The Mac Salad is a favorite!! They will even let you substitute a scoop of rice with Mac Salad on occasion!! A must stop place when on Maui!!

Island style food with an oceanfront locale. Teriyaki, loco moco, typical Hawaiian fare. Ono-licious stuff to eat while you listen to the sounds of the waves beating on the shore!

In the early days of the sugar plantations, lunch was a simple affair. Plantation workers gathered in the fields for their mid-day meal. The Japanese laborers would bring teriyaki beef with rice and pickled vegetables. Seated next to them might be their Filipino neighbors with the traditional dish adobo or perhaps a pork or chicken stew. The Koreans had their kalbi or marinated ribs and the Chinese a rice noodle and vegetable dish called chow fun. Hawaiians were known for their kalua pig, roasted in an underground oven called an imu. It wasn't long before they began to share their foods with one another and the "mixed plate" was born. Aloha Mixed Plate features true "Local" traditional plate lunches with open air seating directly on the ccean. We are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
