We had heard good things about Aloha Mixed Plate and wanted to be at an outdoor restaurant for dinner. To enjoy the sunset. Well it started to rain, no enough to leave or put the umbrella up but no sunset. Not the restaurants fault! We ordered the Aloha Mixed Plated. Had fish, chicken and beef, two scoops of plain white... More

Many people suggested this place to us due the good food and reasonable prices. We went for dinner and our server Ryan was intoxicated. He had to take our drink order 3 times, was in the nearby kitchen swearing repeatedly and loudly, then brought us the wrong and larger bill. The food was very good. Having heard such good things... Food was so, so, service was good and the dining was all out doors. The menu was fairly extensive and prices for Maui were fair. Found out they also provide food for the Luau next door, which was good. A daughter and son-in-law have steaked Mixed Grill as their favorite, taste is individual, one persons liking can be another's distaste.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants to recommend for breakfast, lunch, and take-out. It's just not the same and in good conscience I can no longer recommend this restaurant to my family, friends or our hotel guests. I don't know why....but the quality of their food is going downhill. I had dinner with a friend; we both... More

This beachside restaurant has delicious, reasonably priced food. The breakfast special (amp Hawaiian French Toast Sammy) was possibly the best breakfast I've ever eaten! My husband got The Big Kahuna omelette - also delicious. We went back for lunch another day (got there just before 11:00), and got a table right next to the beach. What a gorgeous view! The... More

Ocean front seating and fantastic food that is also served at the Old Lahaina Luau. Go in the evenings to enjoy sunset and music from the luau. Take out available sometimes long waits for tables.

Order a Dirty Dog (dark rum, banana, passion friiut, orange, and guava juice) to go with the best pork and cabbage luau meat on the island. Beautiful view of the sunset. Include some huge coconut shrimp appetizers! All for under $25! Amazing local food.

A friendly place with a great view, and onolicous food. They have a lot of the local favorites and the Hawaii bread french toast is a must have! They serve up an excellent Bloddy Mary, too. We're glad we stopped driving by, because this place is a hidden gem!

This place has the best mixed plate in Lahaina. Its ocean front and the foods not expensive. Great place to bring the family to try some local food, but not spend a arm and a leg doing it.

In the early days of the sugar plantations, lunch was a simple affair. Plantation workers gathered in the fields for their mid-day meal. The Japanese laborers would bring teriyaki beef with rice and pickled vegetables. Seated next to them might be their Filipino neighbors with the traditional dish adobo or perhaps a pork or chicken stew. The Koreans had their kalbi or marinated ribs and the Chinese a rice noodle and vegetable dish called chow fun. Hawaiians were known for their kalua pig, roasted in an underground oven called an imu. It wasn't long before they began to share their foods with one another and the "mixed plate" was born. Aloha Mixed Plate features true "Local" traditional plate lunches with open air seating directly on the ccean. We are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
