I know that us saying something because there are a LOT of great fish restaurants on the Island but we all agreed that the gush and chips here really were hard to beat.

The Pioneer Inn Grill and Bar is one of our favourite places to stop for either breakfast or lunch after a whale watching cruise. Reservations are not needed and, even when there's a wait, it's never more than 10 or 15 minutes. The employees are friendly and the servings are large. There are many tables open to outside so you... More

We were waiting to board a whale watch tour and stopped in for a drink. They have their own Bloody Mary recipe that is outstanding! Restaurant was packed but there were seats at the bar.

We ate here after spending two morning hours out on a boat. We thought it was best to eat food after getting off the water. The Pioneer Grill was close to the dock and offered a nice breakfast menu, so that was good enough for us. The service was fast and courteous. Our breakfast meals were delivered quickly and tasted... We didn't eat all we wanted, we ate all we could!! We stopped at the Pioneer Inn for Breakfast during our morning stroll through Lahaina and didn't really know what to expect. Our waitress made a couple of suggestions, the Loco Moco (??) and Macadamia Nut Pancakes, and after a short wait were presented with some heaping plates and bowls... More

If one wants the feel of old Hawaii, this is a great option to evoke the memory. The hotel itself is a turn-of-the-last-century historical structure, and the open air veranda which houses the restaurant/bar completes the step-back in time ambiance. Sitting under the old fans and wooden ceiling, across one street from the old Courthouse, and another street from the... More

This is a good place to eat before after any kind of cruise leaving from Lahaina Harbor. We had lunch after a morning whale watch. It's old time Lahaina at its best. Nice atmosphere. All day menu.

Great atmosphere. An old sailor would feel at home here. had breakfast here The food and service was top notched. his place is located next to the Bayan tree park and where you would catch a boat to whale watch. so its nice to have a nice place to have breakfast or lunch before or after taking a boat or... Severely understaffed. Fish tacos were nothing special. Nice open location near the marina, across from the Banyon tree.

We were late to the party, but it was perfect. We strolled in shortly before closing time and the staff was very accommodating and even though it was close to quitting time, you wouldn't know it with the quality of the food and service! Loved the parrot, music, atmosphere. Everything about this place was great!
