They have great food here - OMG! huge fluffy pancakes - great waffles, eggs, everything! it might be the only meal you need for the day!

This is the place, if you want "The Taste of Oahu North Shore". Was not disappointed. Had the Moco Loco, now that's a meal. Daughter had the veggie omelet great, wife had the fried rice and eggs superb. This will be a go to place every time we come to the North Shore.

I was a little disappointed with this café. We ordered a variety of food from omelettes to French toast. The omelette, though generous were not tasty, neither was the side of potatoes. The French toast was much better in my opinion. They have an odd self-serve water system going on which is fine, but talk about cutting corners. We never... More

Decided to try a breakfast plate with regular pancakes, bacon and eggs and it wasn't what I was hoping. The regular pancakes are very bland and taste like a plain bisquick recipe. The banana pancakes are VERY GOOD, but the French Toast isn't something you should pass up. I'll be sticking to my guns the next time I go.

Stopped in here for lunch and the food was very good and there was plenty of it. They did a boxed plate lunch that had everything you wanted and it was very good it is a grade up from some of the other roadside stops. I would definitely stop here again

Stopped in for a quick breakfast, and walked out full and pleased. Great little joint for a excellent breakfast. I had the hungry Hawaiin and my wife had the coconut pancakes. Both were outstanding.

Most of the people here should have been skipping a meal (or several) instead of eating here. Unless you are a male teenager split the pancake orders. The OJ is not expensive nor is it very juicy. We thought this was a must, it was not but we did have a very good breakfast. Loved the Hawaiian French toast (half... More

Two thumbs up for the Hukilau Cafe and their delicious Hawaiian Hawaiian French Toast. We enjoyed this and the teriyaki beef full breakfast. Be prepared for a very down home experience, meaning there are few formalities and it is cash only.

We needed a good breakfast and read a few reviews here. Unfortunately, breakfast service ended at 10 am so we missed having their famous banana pancakes. Everyone ordered different hot sandwiches and they were mostly good. The Mahi Mahi fish sandwich, however, was heavily breaded and seemed like something from a Costco package. If you're visiting Laie, go for a... More

Enjoyed lunch here after spending the morning zip lining at Keana Farms. We had the Hukilau burger, loco moco with mushrooms, BBQ mix plate and butter garlic butterfish (special). The burger was one of the best burgers we've ever had, and the loco moco has my daughter's GOAT vote. Other selections were solid as well. Walls are a low tech... More
