The food was very good for my friend who can "eat anything". But for myself the gluten free options are non existent. I ended up with grilled salmon and rice. It was good but I wouldn't choose this place if you can't have soy sauce. My friend on the other hand loved every bite of her meal.

When I need my Japanese food fix, this is the place I go to in Pearl City. I have been dinning here for many years. My favorite is the tempura & sashimi combo. Their food is always fresh & delicious. Great & fast service from the staff. When in Pearl City must give it a try. Mahalo Cary M

I had the Misoyaki ButterfishTeishoku. The meal came with white or brown rice, nice portion of butterfish, miso soup and salad with oriental dressing. The meal was very good and the sevice was very attentive.

We go here on occasion--very family friendly, however, we have noticed priced going up and portions going down. Even then, we would still probably come back.

I always come here when I have a craving for Japanese food. The sushi is good. The sake selection is good. My favorite is the tonkatsu. Mon-Tue kids eat free.

It has been a few years since we've been to Gyotaku. It has always been our family Japanese restaurant of choice. The restaurant is really run down. The wait help is unprofessional. We could hear them talking out loud and swearing from the back area. A group of them walked through the restaurant looking at customers meals saying that they... More

We always go to Gyotaku Pearl City as our default restaurant for Japanese food. Go early to ensure a short wait for seating. The menu gives you a good variety to choose from. My parents love their Senior menu; it's just the right amount for them to eat. Service is always prompt and courteous.

have to say that everyone was really nice and kind! but my food was cold when served, we told the waiter and he apologized but didn't offer a new meal or even a slight discount. also everything is expensive, even the cheapest main corse costs more than $20.00. will not go there again as the sushi didn't thrill us aswell.

I just had a lunch at Gyotaku, Pearl City today. The restaurant has high ceiling and many windows and interior is most white (ceiling, walls, tables and chairs.) It is very cheerful. Staffs are very friendly. Of course food is great.
