Great little spot right on the water. Straight out of blue lagoon. Great spot to relax by the sea and down a couple cold ones.

If you happen to be in American Samoa on a Wednesday night, every traveler must make the trek over to Tisa's for the Umu. Umu is the traditional method of cooking in an earthen oven using hot stones mixed with the food and covered with...More

A group of us made dinner reservations at Tisa's Barefoot Bar as Tropical Cyclone Ula was approaching American Samoa and needless to say we were the only ones at the restaurant which made the experience that much more awesome. I've never had a whole restaurant...More

Ms. Tisa and her husband were warm and welcoming, and this place is a beautiful little gem on the beach. You need to get a ride in, but then you can just grab a snorkel off the hook at the end of the bar, and...More

Tisa and Dan are great hosts! Food was excellent, and the view is pretty close to perfect! Don't forget to look through the sign in book, cool to see folks who have visited from all over the world.

In conservative American Samoa where drinking is frowned upon, this watering hole is a must see while in American Samoa. The joint reminds you something out of the series Lost and the movie Beach. Loads of tourists from cruise ships get dropped off here to...More

Tisa and her family own this beautiful peace of beachfront, and chose years ago to set up a bar/grill. It is eclectic to the max, but very friendly and laid back. Visited a couple of times (NOT when a cruise ship was in port, bad...More

We are planning to go to Tisa's Barefoot Bar. Can you tell me the best way to get there from the cruise terminal? Bus? Taxi? Where do I catch either? Cost for each? Is the bus for return trip from the bar to the cruise ship available on a frequent basis? What about taxis from the bar? Your input is much appreciated. Thanks. George

Catching a bus or taxi to Tisas is no problem from town, I do believe Tisa meets all the boats and helps with transport. Tisa and Candyman take great care of their customers so I have no doubt Tisa can and will organize... More
