When you're on Mt. Desert Island it seems every place is pushing two meals: Lobster dinners or lobster rolls. Everyone had about the same prices: $20-$25 for a lobster dinner and $20 lobster rolls. At C Rays you get basically these two options. the food...More

Stopped in to this little gem while spending a weeks vacation on Mount Desert Island. What a wonderful experience, the authenticity is spot on. Service the is great and the lobster is totally amazing. Hands down the BEST Lobster Roll I have ever eaten.

Great Lobster Roll. Not too much sauce. You can truly appreciate the taste of the fresh lobster. The roadside setting and rustic experience is very authentic. Would recommend to anyone looking for a true Maine experience.

Alittle disappointed in the flavor of the roll. It was my first lobster roll and I kind of expected it to be a little more saucy

The lobster rolls were excellent. Good amount of meat with an excellent mayo blend with a little hint of lemon. The bun was great. Toasted well.

C-Rays is what I would call a lobster shack. U pick the size of lobster you want and they fix it. The price is based on size. You may add sides, but the lobster was enough for me for lunch. They also had kids meals...More

C-Ray Lobster is the local's trusted seafood shop and take-out eatery. C-ray is the source for lobster dinners, lobster rolls, steamer clams, mussels and the day's catch of island caught seafood either live or cooked onsite, or packed to travel. All of our lobsters are brought straight from the traps to our store, and C-ray's owner harvests the steamers, mussels and cherrystones himself, by hand, each morning. C-Ray's bakery section is famous for the areas most delicious pies and from-scratch baked goods. Check out our Wild Maine Blueberry or Strawberry Rhubarb Pie, Decadent breakfast pastries, and picnic fix in's to take away! We're local fisherman and chef owned and operated! C-Ray is a true hidden gem, located just 3 miles from the Trenton bridge and 7 miles from downtown Bar Harbor. C-ray is no fuss, no frills, just great food served with a heaping helping of Downeast Maine hospitality. We are open late may through october 11 am to dark and stating after september 5th we will be closed on sundays through October 15th and in June we will be closed on Mondays. July and August we are open 7 days a week!
