We ordered take out from here, and we ordered 3 different type of dishes. The Vietnamese noodles, fried pork and rice and curry rice. All 3 were great, which is surprising as so many places only excel in one type of cooking method! With Vietnamese noodle soup, I'm always cautious about drinking it because of MSG, but I drank the... We ate here and tried the beef PHO and BBQ shrimp. Both were inline with normal 4 star rating for medium priced Vietnamese dishes. I'm rating it as 5 as the lady there made us feel very welcome and made me laugh a lot. Good times!!! Right off Grant St. and in middle of old Chinatown.

Love this little, busy restaurant. The locals eat here and now we know why. If you love the Asian style you'll love this place.

Very good Vietnamese food. I ordered chicken and my colleague ordered beef, both were excellent. Extremely busy so we had to wait a while and service was not really that good (it wasn't bad it's just that they didn't come around much probably because they were busy).

We came here because of the reviews but they are way off. Service is super slow and food was below average. We sat for 15 mins before they took our order. 45 mins before we got our food. And they forgot the sides dishes. I do not recommend.

Food is very tasty; service is quick and efficient. One of our cheapest and most delicious meals in our San Francisco trip.

We lucked into this one! Being a fan of noodle house foods we asked a local which was the best noodle house in Chinatown and were directed to this hole in the wall gem. The spring rolls were awesome and I had the house special which was a sliced beef and noodle bowl. Everything here was fresh, hot and tasty.... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique neighbourhood decorated with colourful shops, historic streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands, tourist shops, jewelry stores, fortune tellers, temples and restaurants come together to create a world unto itself in this historic neighbourhood.
