Decent sized vegan sandwiches for a very cheap price, I recommend it. Small dining place tho, it's a good place to take away

So many veggie meats, so little time! I do enjoy a good pretend meat every once in awhile, and the seemingly endless choices here would bring me back again and again. There's not much flair, just a lot of sandwich. From smoked veg duck, to roast veg chicken and beyond... lots of bread and condiment choices too. Something for every... More

Good sandwiches and fast service. Great coffee too, highly recommended for a quick fly through visit.

This place has lot's love lovin', in the sandwiches that is. The motion is in the ocean of flavors. Get the chips and drink, as it's a great deal, especially for wallet ridden SF'ers, as sometimes it was aye.

Tasty sandwich, nothing mind blowing, but a HUGE amount of food, at least on the sourdough roll. The ladies working didn't appear to give a crap whether we stayed, left, ordered, sat down, watched tv, whatever. Can't beat the price though. Plus they offer meat, vegetarian, and vegan sandwiches, hot or cold, so you cab pretty much make what you... More

Staying in Haight-Ashbury

Neighbourhood Profile
The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops. While the Summer of Love ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through its streets can still feel like stepping back in time. A must-see neighbourhood for most music fans, it’s easy to see why these streets attracted the likes of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. You’ll likely be content in The Haight day or night, just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
