I have been coming to this Japanese restaurant for about 5 years now. It has changed hand a couple of times I think. Food remains very good and dishes have been kept with no change which in my opinion is a good thing as I really like them the way they are.

Was looking for some good food in SF. This was a refreshing sight to behold. Japanese food is pretty good and of relatively good value in SF. Staff are polite and food is great! Would come back again if I am in SF!

Just around the corner from our hotel in Union Square. Service was adequate, decor was very basic. The food was good but I found for what we received the bill was quite high $45 USD (we split one beer between the 2 of us and had 3 rolls I believe). Good place for a quick lunch though but not the... More

This restaurant is small and unassuming with excellent Japanese food. We ordered sushi only but saw others enjoying tempura so we decided to order that too. We were not disappointed! Great quality and value.

What a wonderful subtle sushi restaurant right on O'Farrell. Great food and location. No reservation but a self sign in sheet up front.

We eat here quite regularly, my roommate is Japanese and she claims is the best Japanese food outside of Japan, prices are very decent for downtown San Francisco

The foods are great, I ordered beef teriyaki set included salad, miso soup and rice. The beef is good and quite big about 150-200 grams tasty and I recommend this beef teriyaki. Sushi and salmon sashimi also good👍. The place is capacity 40 persons a bit narrow and during lunch/dinner time always queueing.

I was looking for a Japanese restaurant near Union Square and found Dojima-Ann whilst wandering around the area. The exterior, it's quite unassuming. The interior is a bit small, but decent for the price of the food. The food was good, couldn't really fault it. The sushi rolls I had were delicious and well-priced, the miso soup was great and... We have now been at the Dojima-Ann at three occasions. We have had different kinds of sushi, udon noodles, tempura and the Tonkatsu curry with gyoza. Everything have been at full satisfaction, so tasty! The place is always crowded but feels quite cozy.

I'm not saying this is gourmet but it's good, fast, staff are friendly and made me feel like I was back in Shimizu. My traveling companions don't have nostalgia to rely on but like Japanese and loved it was well. And... downtown San Francisco and I was able to eat a good sit down lunch with good service for around... More
