This is a good place to grab a beer, eat some bar food, and catch a sporting event. With so many great places to grab a drink and food in the area, this place is average. Cool history, fun atmosphere. Solid beer selection, but fewer microbrews than others nearby

As a jet lagged Brit staying in Haight Ashbury I found the early morning premier league football matches well attended here. Saturday, 7am, had masses of Liverpool supporters, seemingly organised by a local club. Sunday, 8am, a smattering of disconsolate Man Utd fans as they lost heavily to Chelsea. Both mornings had a pleasant and relaxed vibe. The Mexican American... More

This restaurant offers a nice selection of dinner options. It was difficult to decide what to order. The Fish Tacos were great. The decor is interesting and engaging - cozy.

Stopped in for one at the end of a busy touristy day in SF. Lots of choices for a beverage and friendly waitstaff. Had the feel of a place to go after the game or to watch a game. Kitchen closed as we got there so no food but that was OK with us. Nice!

On a recent visit to San Francisco I was impressed with this Irish pub. On my first visit with a friend of mine we ordered the buffalo wings. Fabulous. There was a large crowd in the bar that night. The service was top notch as was the atmosphere. Plenty of tv screens to watch sport on. On a return visit... More

The Kezar Pub referred to as the Kezar Bar is an easy stop for a drink and good pub food. It is darkish inside, not too roomy and very popular with a younger crowd. Even though we are senior citizens, we enjoyed the company in the place. All were friendly and courteous. The wait staff are knowledgeable and very friendly.... More

Plenty of TVs, showing lots of events, friendly servers delivering cold beer and great wings. We had a few business travelers who met our colleague (a local) here. We all shared a few orders of wings and thoroughly enjoyed them. I can see how the locals love this place and I would definitely go back when I'm in town.

Came here to watch the India vs. Pakistan cricket world cup match. The place was packed! Fantastic atmosphere. These guys show many different kinds of international sporting events ranging from US sports to rugby, cricket, and European soccer.

I loved the pub atmosphere so would go for a drink again. But the food was sub par. Greasy and generic. The only thing I liked were the potato skins. The quesadilla and mozzarella sticks were greasy and flavorless. The chicken strips were bland. The soup was too spicy and yet flavorless. Greet place to watch the game though and... More

Staying in Haight-Ashbury

Neighbourhood Profile
The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops. While the Summer of Love ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through its streets can still feel like stepping back in time. A must-see neighbourhood for most music fans, it’s easy to see why these streets attracted the likes of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. You’ll likely be content in The Haight day or night, just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
