The best part of this place is that you order at the counter and then sit so it allows for tables to be flipped faster. The food is clearly fresh and very tasty. I like their breakfast and lunch menu and you get large portions...More

We went here on a morning to have breakfast. The place was pretty crowded but the place had outdoor seating and the weather was ok. Even tough it was crowded, the food came really fast. I got one of there omelettes which was very good...More

We visited the grind for breakfast and were blown away by the choice available. I had the waffles which were huge and had lots of fresh fruit on top. The cafe is pretty busy so get there before 10, we ate on a Sunday morning...More

Biking San Francisco we discovered this Jewel where we had a really nice Down to earth breakfast. Athmosphere is relaxing and friendly. Highly recommended.

Staying around the corner at the Metro (another real winner) in the LOWER HAIGHT DISTRICT. You should eat here if you are not looking for the typical, large, order at the table and tip big restaurant. Has a blended in San Franciscan look for the...More

We found this cafe by accident but had an amazing brunch - huge variety, fresh ingredients, well put together in a hopping spot. Recommend if you are strolling along Haight or are further afield and want good and very reasonable food. Not over fancy but...More

Great for breakfast & dinner. Huge menu to choose from. Prices are very reasonable. Liked their fresh fruit, yoghurt & granola for breakfast. Loved "Happy Hour" from 5pm - 7pm with all beers for $2.50. Free Wifi, just ask the server for the password.

I can't believe I never reviewed this place before. It is my favorite place to eat breakfast on my trips back home. I have eaten here about 100x. I usually have the hashbrown hill because it's consistently delicious. Since I often stay at The Metro...More

This was the first place that the hotel referred us to upon arrival. What a great recommendation. Giant (HUGE) menu full of breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, pastries, everything. The cappuccino was great (although my fiance preferred the drip filter coffee at the Mill a few blocks...More

The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and
Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of
the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage
clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops.
While the Summer of Love ended decades ago,
Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of
hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through
its streets can still feel like stepping back in time.

What is the parking situation? Also, we will be a group of 6 adults and 3 children and 1 infant. This would be on Sunday, Oct. 4th. Is it possible to make a reservation so we won't be waiting in line for a table? Thanks.

I saw street parking only. The place had tables big enough for your size group (maybe having to combine 1 large amd 1 small table). It is very casual - order at then counter & they bring to table, so it's fine for kids. I... More
