Food was fine. Didn't expect to pay 5% tax extra on top of the normal tax, as we were eating on the pier. Nice restaurant until we left a tip. Our server Paul C complained that we only left him $10 tip. His aggression and staring at the lady on the table was very uncomfortable. He then had other servers... More

Absolutely amazing! We loved this restaurant! We've been here twice, in our 3 days in SF! We're coming back this year! Price is good! Fish and chips was DELICIOUS! I had Jambalaya the second evening! Yummy! Like I said, can't wait to come back!

I had a lunch meal with my wife and 4 friends this past weekend. The place was really crowded (a reservation helps) but we did not have much of a wait after ordering. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. I had shrimp primavera, which was light on sauce but tasty. My wife bubbled over her fried shrimp. Prices were around... More

The food is overrated. The quantity is good enough, the quality is not so good for the price charged.

Despite reading that restaurants at Fishermans Wharf were overpriced, this was not one of them and we ate beer battered cod and chips in the usual huge American portions along with a good bottle of Napa Valley Pinot Grigio for a similar price to what you would pay in the UK. Service was good and friendly but of course you... More

Pleasantly surprised. Good food, very nice staff, water view and not overcrowded. Greatly exceeded expectations in the middle of a tourist destination.

Went there with a group of friends. The positives - Location , ambiance, clam chowder, grilled lobster, calamari, crab cakes, garlic fries. The negatives- sole fish, crab cocktail, bread. The manager on duty was initially not so hospitable and a bit high headed but once we complained, his attitude changed for the better.

Order the clam chowder it's delicious. Don't order the crab cakes it's full of filler and less crab. The grilled meats were good, the husband really enjoyed the mahi mahi.

Ate at this wonderful place before an Alcatraz tour. The food was fantastic, the service great, and the prices good. The view is stunning. We had a variety of appetizers, raw oysters and grilled shrimp. All were fresh and cooked correctly. The sour dough bread was great. Will come back here on our next SF trip.

I hate writing almost negatives reviews but this is San Francisco and to rely entirely on your location is immoral. To be honest I should have looked at the reviews and opted for something fried but I saw this gorgeous fire pit that they grill fish on and went that way. Upon ordering the sole is came prepared soaked in... More
