This is not a bad thai restaurant on Dividadero and Haight but in a city where thai restaurants abound, one cannot help but compare it with others and this comes up average...The tofu red curry with vegetables was ok.. it was devoid of the complexity of spices usually in thai curries, instead one could only smell and taste curry powder;... We went to Phuket Thai Restaurant as we were staying nearby and wanted something that was relatively cheap and closeby. The quality of the food was good for the price and it didn't bother us that the restaurant was almost empty. My boyfriend ordered the Pud Phuket and I ordered the Panang curry. Despite being well cooked and tasty, my... More

My hotel staff recommended this place over the other Thai place nearby. It was almost empty when I ate there, but they did a brisk take-out business. Prices are crazy cheap for very good food. I know you don't go to a Thai restaurant to drink, but $3 for a glass of the house wine is a very retro price,... More

I've eating a lot of Thai in the area and I find the food to be very good and the prices reasonable. The soup isn't as good as other local restraunts, but the entees are very good.

Title says it all. OK food but the place is almost always empty.

Staying in Haight-Ashbury

Neighbourhood Profile
The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops. While the Summer of Love ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through its streets can still feel like stepping back in time. A must-see neighbourhood for most music fans, it’s easy to see why these streets attracted the likes of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. You’ll likely be content in The Haight day or night, just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
