We were at this place during Later Afternoon and already had our stomach full but who can say no to a dessert. So we ordered some Sunday Brownies alongwith Some Pies & Nutella Strawberry Crepes. The brownies were awesome and too much to consume for a single person. Overall the place is a bit cramped and stays crowded most of... More

I went there with my wife and liked the service but no tables to seat. I liked the ice cream and crew were kind enough.

The smell of chocolate overpowers the senses - no clue that Fishermans Wharf and San Francisco Bay are 1 block away! And the ice cream is tremendous too!!

Me and my wife shared the Salted Carmel Brownie Sundae and it was so good. It wasn't too busy when we were there but I've heard the line can go down the block. They really can move people in and out though and it's worth waiting for. You have to try it if you're in San Francisco. I think it's... More

Yes, it's good chocolate but 1) I can buy it anywhere, 2) no tours, nothing fun to bring me in, except for the chocolate I can buy anywhere... sort of disappointing.

Expensive but worth every bite. The average sundae is over $13.00 but it's a tourist thing... so why not, right? Actually we went twice! But we walked it off on the Streets of San Francisco!

I went that place expressly just for trying their brownies. It is impossible to finish it by your own, bring a hungry friend if possible. It is also a bit expensive, paying $17 only for the brownie.

If you love chocolate and/or ice cream, you should visit Ghirardelli Chocolate shop. This is a huge location with tons of seating for small/large groups. You can order "half portions" which are not on the extensive menu. You just need to ask. Ice cream is great and the view of Golden Gate bridge, etc. are very nice.

Bought several items for snacks for the family. Chocolate was very good and there was quite a variety of flavors to chose from.
