This smallish Chinese restaurant in the Castro is very popular with neighborhood crowd. The Three C's Tofu special was exceptional, for those who don't relish spicy foods, ask them to tone down the chilis. This is not the run of the mill Cantonese restaurant. It's...More

Their beijing chicken and eggplant is one of my favorite things ever. They also do a great dim sum brunch. Pretty much all the food I've had here is excellent.

Love these dumplings only at lunch and everything else too - soup dumplings are the best as are the old spicy noodles and the green beans and the shrimp dumplings and the pork dishes and the tofu And everything else

The Resturant is small stuffy and not clean. I ordered the clay pod and it was very oily . The source had a thick layer of oil!!!

Before Mama Ji's it was a challenge getting excellent dim sum without going too far from the city center. The service is friendly and efficient. Everything we ordered was delicious. We'll be back!

The Castro
A flourishing commercial area that acts as San
Francisco's LGBT community center and cultural heart,
the Castro is a neighbourhood welcome to everyone. As
one of the first predominantly LGBT neighbourhoods in
the United States and currently its largest, it
remains one of the epicenters of activism in the
nation. Grand theatres and glitzy shops now compete
with bars and fashionable eateries for attention,
