The best chess squares I have ever eaten. Really good sourdough bread and they will slice it for you. Everything looked great and what we tried was delicious. It appears to be a very popular place for the locals. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will certainly go again when we get a chance.

Love the pastries! My experience is only donuts, apple fritters, strudels and baked goods. These high carb confections are fresh and delicious and it doesn't get any better than Peggy Ann's bakery. You must try them in Greeneville!

Peggy Ann Bakery has amazing lunch, something different every day of the week. Little bit pricey for Greeneville about $10.00 a plate with drink, but really good food if you like southern style vittles. Plus they have a bakery if you want some cookies, pies, or doughnut holes for dessert. Really nice people too.

Great pastries and meals, but I wish the location had better hours of service. This place is famous with the locals!

It's a great place. Yummy goodies (cookies and pastries and pies, oh my) and extremely friendly staff. That's why there's always a line. Personally, I always get the cherry danish. But there's so many choices.

I have heard alot about this place. While shopping at Belks, I overheard an employee taking up a lunch order, so I decided to give it a try. Yum. It is definitely worth the stop. Very crowded parking lot usually means good food. That was the case here.

Enjoy the "old time" bakery. This is a great place for those pastries you loved when you were young. Apple fritters (yum!) , cinnamon rolls (double yum!), cream sticks filled with whipped cream or custard, pastries with all kinds of fruit or fillings and of course doughnuts of all kinds (try the pumpkin when in season). A true bakery to... More

Their pecan tarts have a delicious, flaky crust and filling. Their chocolate cupcakes are moist and have a great flavor. The frosting on the cupcakes is light and fluffy. Their prices are reasonable. Their bakery has a limited selection.

Hands down the most amazing sugar cookies anywhere. The bachelor buttons are also a big favorite at my house. The cafeteria style lunch they have daily is excellent--good price good portions. As an added bonus every Thursday is "Thanksgiving" at Peggy Ann's so if you love turkey and dressing then this is the Thursday place to be.

I went the other morning and got some great, fresh doughnuts. You could see the employees making them in the background. The prices were extremely affordable.
