On a day trip to Harpers Ferry we were looking for a "local, one of a kind" place to have dinner. Everything about this place was perfect; we walked in and were greeted immediately by Chef Kev. Sat fireside and had a few minutes to take in the eclectic ambiance. Zack waited on us and asked all the right questions... More

My innkeeper recommended Bisou Bistro when I arrived in Harpers Ferry and I'm sorry I waited until my last night in town to dine there. The lobster bisque was some of the best I have ever eaten. If I were the responsible sort, I would have stopped there -- it was plenty! Alas, I also had the steak, which was... More

Had a really great time here. Came in for dinner with friends. Our appetizer of brochette was absolutely delish. I had a traditional cajon meal of chicken and andouille jambalaya. It was awesome. My only recommendation is that the staff needs to be educated on the wine selection with and the service to check out was slow.

We had dinner here on our first night in HF based on recommendation from b&b. The wine list is very reasonable and many good entrees including the gumbo. Interesting story about the many purposes of the building during the civil war.

We happened on this excellent restaurant by accident. My wife had rockfish and I had seafood gumbo. Both were excellent although I prefer more seafood in my gumbo. We got a goat cheese appetizer with 3 different cheeses that was excellent. Only Robles was not enough bread to match the cheeses.

This restaurant was recommended to us by several locals during our visit to Harpers Ferry. It was so good we went on a Friday night and again Saturday night! The servers were very friendly and the food was amazing. The vegetables were fresh, seafood was delicious. Both the French soup and lobster Bisque were great. My husband was very impressed... More

We were visiting Harper's Ferry for a weekend away to celebrate my husband's birthday. We gave the Bisou Bistro a try and were delightfully surprised. While it's best to make a reservation we hadn't on that Friday night but were able to get in and were seated upstairs. It was lovely. We shared the space with one other couple but... More

We picked this place because it was recommended. There were four of us and we tried the Bruschetta, French Onion soup, Steak, Seafood pasta and the Gumbo. The food was delicious. The service was ok but he was the only server in the area, which caused him to forget about us a little. The restaurant was very cute and could... More

Good, not great, food in an interesting location. All in all, probably your best dinner option in the area.

This is absolutely the best restaurant in this NHP town. Authentic Cajun dishes with fresh ingredients. Great seafood. Excellent service and reasonable prices including the wine list. Don't miss it.

Thank LaRee
