Wow! What amazing and interesting food. There were 7 of us in our party and everyone was beyond thrilled with their food. Our favorites were the meat and cheese board and the corn bread for starters. The fish (two peas and a cod) and the...More

The RAD is a great place to visit artist studios and eat good food. The Junction is a sweet place to grab a meal or great cocktail. You can park on or off street and wander into galleries and working studios and buy a gift...More

We were on a road trip and knew we could spare a couple of hours in Asheville for a Sunday late lunch and a couple of galleries in the River Arts District. Found The Junction on Open Table and snagged it not knowing anything about...More

We chose to sit outside on a warm Memorial Day weekend evening. Not a fancy outdoor seating area, but my meal was memorable. My son and I each had the pork chop and felt that they were probably best that we could ever remember. It...More

The food here was very good - southern food with a modern twist. It is a casual restaurant with bare brick walls and innovative lighting. Our waiter was very good. An enjoyable evening.

The staff was very kind in accommodating our need for an outdoor spot for our dogs (they only have a few outdoor tables) and one of the cooks came out to give them pieces of bacon. We loved the cornbread and bacon. The only downside...More

From the initial greeting to the first cocktail to the entrees, I haven't had a greater meal in a long while. The chef brought out the appetizer himself, pork rinds but not any pork rinds. Something new! Huge pork rinds with hot sauce and an...More

The Junction is the first full service restaurant in Asheville's River Arts District. We feature Southern-inspired farm to table fare and seasonal craft cocktails with fresh ingredients. We brine our fried chicken, smoke our pears, handcraft our soups and visit tailgate markets weekly. We make our own bacon and ketchup, squeeze cases of citrus each week for cocktails and work with other local, small businesses whenever possible. We invite you to join us after work for a casual beer and a burger at the bar, or to bring your beloved or whole family for a unique dining experience. Our menu features a combination of soups, salads and sharing plates as well as hearty entree options so that every dining experience is unique. Please visit our website to preview menus, as they change weekly.
