Had the Philly. The brisket was good but it lacked the cheese I expected and the mac and cheese side was not very good. My husband had the Cuban which he said was a 4 of 5 and the collards were good . Beer selection was better than average. Service was very good.

Our large (20+) family, ages 2 to 79 years, gathered for an after Christmas lunch. The weather cooperated, and the 8 children enjoyed the playground equipment by the creek after eating. Food choices ranged from fried pickles and dactyl eggs as appetizers to sandwiches and baby back ribs entrees. Though the service was not fast, the waitress was very thorough... More

Creekside is a spacious place with indoor and covered patio seating. They have a nice selection of craft beers on draft. They also have a variety of items on their food menu, burgers, sandwiches and salads. I had the Brunswick stew with chicken and pork, which was very flavorful. Service was good.

Stopped by for a late lunch and a couple beers after hiking. A nice location, good selection of beers, fast friendly service. A couple of the sandwiches were over cooked, despite a lengthy discussion in advance with the waiter. Still, a decent afternoon.

My husband and I found this place on our trip advisor. My decided to try it. (SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST). There were 2 other couples inside, 1 couple outside on deck. We ordered 2 beers. I was told they did not have Any Coors beer. I ordered Corona and got a lite beer of some sort. U can... More

We went here a couple weeks ago and the waitress was nice but that's about it. We ordered a beer and a Malibu & pineapple juice mixed drink. She said the bar was "a bit backed up" but we were sitting right there and that wasn't the case at all. About 20 minutes later we got our drinks, a CANNED... More

I had smoked turkey which was pretty good, but the side dishes had too much salt and pepper. The cole slaw which I had looked forward to to balance the saltiness of the smoked turkey was far too peppery. No one ate theirs. The fried potatoes had far too much salt -- you could see it on them. If I... More

Friendly, relaxed neighborhood joint, tucked amongst the trees, about 10-15 min from downtown AVL. Enjoy brisket, smoked turkey, bbq pork (mmmmagical sauces), a juicy burger, wings, tater salad, mac n cheese, collards, fried green tomatoes, a wrap or a salad, and wash it all down with a cold craft beer, cocktail, or swig of tea. Bring the fam & the... More

My husband and I stopped for lunch and found the typically bar food. They had some non-typical options, a bbq eggroll and a brisket/bbq ball appetizer, that looked great but we were told they didn't have them available. The smoked wings were okay, a little on the dry side and the fried green tomatoes had a bit more breaking than... More
