I came here for a quick bite to eat before seeing a show. It's a good location near the hotel I was staying at. However, the service here was absolutely horrendous...and I get it, it's a pub, it's not fine dining. Yet, after ten minutes of NO ONE stopping by, we had to go over to the host stand and... More

Stayed in Boston for 4 days, Ate at Bean Town 4 days.. :) Wings (amazing) Burgers (delish) Breakfast 3 of the 4 days... The Steak and Eggs was one of the best we've ever had.($14.95) The steak had such an amazing flavour. I did have the Eggs Benedict one morning and was not a fan.. And the toast could be... More

After flying into town, we ducked into Beantown Pub for a quick lunch and authentic tate of Boston. Great sandwiches, okay baked beans, great fries.

Went for lunch on a cold Saturday. The food was delicious. My husband had the wings & he loved them. They had a great beer selection and the bartender was very friendly. We enjoyed the musician who was playing in the bar. Great pub with a relaxing atmosphere.

The Beantown Pub became one of my favorite places in Boston in the span of about 3.5 hours. My husband and I ducked in here on NYE because it was right next to our hotel. We were lucky enough to score some seats at the bar and the rest is history. The bartenders were excellent and hilarious, as you can... More

I joined friends for drinks and appetizers after a busy day. The food was great, service was excellent and attentive and the atmosphere was casual. Perfect for what we were looking for.

Boston Bar across the street from where Samuel Adams was buried. "Enjoy a cold Sam Adams while visiting a cold Sam Adams" ~ Bad repeat of a T-shirt on the wall. Great place to watch a football game if you're a Patriots fan, or any sport. Kind of narrow bar but deep. Gets crowded so don't go if you're one... More

We stopped in here after checking in at the Omni because none of the on-site restaurants were open yet. We ordered some apps and some drinks. The sangria was quite good if a little sweet. The beer selection was not very impressive. The chicken fingers were fresh and tasty. The pretzel tasted a bit stale. Overall though the service was... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
