As many other reviewers have pointed out, service is curt at best, rude at worst. But I really enjoyed the food. Maybe not quite as special as Windsor across the street, but enjoyable nonetheless. We ordered fried pork and cabbage buns, kim chee, some kind of cold smoked fish, steamed vegetable buns, and schezuan wontons, which was just the right... More

We were looking for a good place to have xiaolongbao--soup-filled meat dumplings. They were hot, plump and quite flavorful here. We also tried the scallion pancakes and they were fantastic.

We arrive at 6:00 PM and were seated by 6:45. If there is a line, go in and give your name to the waitress. Seating is European style so you may beat the table with another couple. I'm gregarious so we met two college girls from China studying in Seattle & two friends also from China one studying in Wisconsin;... More

The restaurant it's located in Boston's China Town. It's a small space, so expect to wait to be seated. We were a group of 4. We are welcomed by a lady the was shouting "table ?? no cards, only cash, only cash"; we said that was no problem and she said to wait. We was seated and were always treated... More

This place is the best kept secret in Chinatown. You might have to wait a little wile to get in, however the food is excellent and medium priced. Soup dumplings are the specialty order them as an appetizer.

Having tasted chinese in Europe I thought i would give US chinese a try. It was more than delicious. It can be very busy and lively and the menu is veryyy long but the staff is helpful. It is really really worth it!

My son and I visited on a cold Sunday night with 3 inches of snow on its way. We walked past dozens of empty Chinese restaurants until we aw the one packed restaurant. Luckily they had one table available so we went straight in. No frills but great food and fast service. The dumplings were really good. I was looking... More

If you are coming to Boston and want delicious Chinese food go here! The pricing is good and you get large portions with a large menu. Do keep in mind if you dine in that you could potentially be sitting with other groups. They do have take-out.

I'm used to the "European" Chinese food... and I was not expecting such an amazing cuisine. The place is rather small, and before getting in I had to wait more or less 10'. The amount of people waiting outside, and the Chinese customers earing inside, though, didn't make me hesitate for even a second. And yes I was right. The... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
A small area rich in Chinese cultural influences, visit Boston’s Chinatown for some great Asian cuisine and small, authentic bakeries. Enter through the iconic Chinatown gate and stroll down Beach, Tyler, and Kneeland streets to explore the compact area. Rest your feet from walking and grab a bite at one of the many restaurants around Chinatown. From traditional Chinese to Vietnamese to Malaysian, there is a wide range of Asian food available, within easy access of South Station. At night, Chinatown becomes a late night food destination after the bars close.
