We were in Boston recently to visit the girls at College and popped into Coppa for lunch. Our foodie eldest made the recommendation and we were not disappointed. The Linguini Nero (with lobster) was delicate, not overcooked and the lobster was firm without being rubbery....More

This cozy restaurant does it well. First, I love squeezing through the curtained entrance which serves to keep out the cold - so parisian! The food is just right, the drink selection just broad enough, and the ambience low key. A perfect spot to enjoy...More

The Italian inspired tapas/small plates at Coppa are fantastic. Executed equally well as at their sister restaurant, Toro (also in the South End). In fact some things on the menu such as the beef heart and the sea urchin panini seemed like they would be...More

Coppa came highly recommended from a local, so we were excited to try it during our short visit in Boston, but we weren't aware that it's a very intimate (i.e. small) space and reservations are recommended. However, the hostess was confident that a few tables...More

Coppa is definitely worth going to - fresh ingredients, interesting and balanced dishes yet not overdone, a relaxed atmosphere and a feel of a local crowd. Try the bacalao - it's as good as in Portugal! Just sample several small plates - you won't regret...More

Really great food. Definitely worth a visit! Each dish was very delicious. We tried a few new things (tongue and heart) and they were great. The servers are friendly. The atmosphere is great. I will be going back very shortly.

Coppa is an intimate enoteca tucked on a quiet side street in Boston's South End featuring Italian small plates created by James Beard Award-winning Chefs Jamie Bissonnette and Ken Oringer. Everything is made with locally sourced and sustainable ingredients. Coppa has an eclectic wine list, and unique cordial-based cocktails. We offer a patio in the warmer months. Please note that patio & bar are first come first serve. You can book dining reservations on Open Table or by calling the restaurant. Please also visit our sister restaurant, Toro on Washington street in the South End of Boston.
