The views from the bar were marvellous and it's free apart from buying your drink, you could go to the observation deck which is in the same building but they charge I think 28 dollars for the views so it's better to go to the bar, the food is also fabulous

Make sure you get up there on a clear day. No better place for a 360degree view on Benton! Especially at night, illuminated Boston has it's very own charm.

I am working for one of the top hospitality School in the world and I must say that I was very disapointed by the service in that restaurant. They were very unfriendly and snobish. The view is great, the food average and the service very bad!

SO busy it was standing room only. Cocktail hour...on a Saturday night. Long line for a table, but walk right in for bar service. Great bartender...attentive and fast, despite the crowd...good drinks, reasonable prices....but a great view and experience. A "must do". You WILL impress your date.

Amazing views, comfortable seating, good service and decent wine list - also well-located in the Prudential Centre - which houses wonderful shops as well.

The view is amazing from the Sky Bar. We didn't eat here but certainly all the food going out looked good. We went on a Saturday night and it was very busy so you should probably get there early for a seat. Strangely we were asked for Passports/Id on the way in despite the fact that we are all very... Well worth the trip to the 52nd floor for drinks. The view is amazing and the prices no more expensive than the city bars.

Great view from the top of the "Pru" There is a fantastic view of the airport runways with the jets taking off and landing. If making a reservation and want a good view, request a table by the windows. They will do their best to give you one if there are any available. The menu is good and the foor... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
