lot of younger people college age or maybe late twenties. Pub grub food and place to hang for a casual drink. Need to walk down into the basement so no street watching people.

We bumped into this bar several times while staying at the Eliot Hotel, it was very convenient and not overly crowded, you were still able to get a drink St. Patrick's day weekend.

Best tomato bisque! Good menu and service. Not just your typical bar/pub food. Don't let the outside fool you.

The last meal we had during our Boston weekend. Stopped there on our way to the Red Sox game. Good beer selection. Everybody liked their meal, Nachos, Hummus plate and especially the Meatball sandwich. Want to try the brunch next time.

Always come here for a drink and a bite to eat while doing laundry across the street. Fairly priced drinks and the food is decent, but the friendly staff are what make me keep coming back. Fantastic service and very nice group of people.

I went to this restaurant and as soon as we entered the smell was amazing. They require you ID so i'm guessing they don't allow minors. If you are international bring your passport because your country ID is not enough (i had to go back to my place to get it) Anyway, the place looks pretty cool, it´s a small... More

If you want a place to hang out and experience good vibes, it is this one. If you want to live it up but in a chill atmosphere, this is the place. If it is a game night, but you want nothing to do with bars over crowding with noisy fans on the main streets, find this place. I'm not... More

It was a relief to find a place to have a few drinks that wasn't overcrowded or loud. It was pricey, but that's what we came to expect in Boston!

Very cozy and friendly place. I'm a tourist and I really appreciate the atmosphere, full of real boston's people. Unfortunately I ordered something I didn't know it was so spicy and my mouth was dying. The waitress was very kind asking me if she could give me something to make me feel better :)

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
