Great place to get a taste of Boston if you are first timers like us. The bread bowl has variety of soup options, but if course, the Chowder is a MUST.. Lobster roll full of CHUNKY pieces of lobster. this Miami girl left feeling FatDumb&Happy.

I wish I had gotten a bigger cup of chowder because it was so good. A little pricey, but worth it. Make sure you have cash.

Is all you need to order. Tasty, fresh lobster. Worth the wait in those long lines in crowded Quincy.

Finger licking experience, my first Clam Chowder. Had it creamy, white and filled out in a Bread Boule. Authentic and Very Tasty!

My son and I had lunch here recently. We both had the New England clam chowder and loved it. It's rich and creamy, with just the right amount of clams and perfectly cooked potatoes. It was so good. Really hit the spot. I also had a cold lobster roll. It was very good as well. Chunks of fresh lobster, lightly... More

This was my first time eating a lobster roll. I was amazed at how it was all lobster and not just filling with a bit of lobster. Really enjoyed the lobster roll with clam chowder.

In crowded Quincy Market, my expectations were not high. But, the line moved fast, and the lobster rolls were outstanding. Good luck finding a seat to eat them. Best lobster rolls I have had.

Quincy Market is wall to wall stores, restaurants and people. Luckily, Boston Chowda has two lines for service because they always have people waiting to be served. Got a medium New England clam chowder, which was the perfect size for me. Piping hot, full of clams, cream and diced potatoes. Asked for an extra bag of oyster crackers and was... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
