Wonderful food and great selection of beers on tap. Everything from bar food to full dinners and great sweets to end the meal. Highly recommend.

Great environment and bar scene. However my panini was an 'inside out' hotdog bun that was toasted and pressed. Good tater tots. Definitely a pub for drinks and maybe appetizers that's it.

We went there after the super bowl parade.. they were swamped but managed to keep up. Drinks were there when needed and food was there in a reasonable time considering how busy they were! Good was very good as was the service!!! No complaints!!

After walking back from the Boston Opera House, we decided to stop here for a couple of Sam Adams. The staff was very friendly and the crowd it attracted was as well. Being up from Florida, I felt very welcome at this pub. Also, the prices were reasonable for its location in downtown Boston.

This lovely Irish pub was in close walking distance to our hotel and due to the varied menu we ended up eating there 3 times! Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Visited twice as a solo traveller, good table service if eating (reasonable quality and prices), bar stools always busy, but grab one if you can and enjoy the pretzels and Guinness dip appetisers during the early happy hour. Lacks the genuine Irish charm only a live band can give but worth a visit if staying nearby (such as the Park... More

I was staying at the Boston Park Plaza and decided to take a walk. I'm so glad I did as I stumbled across this charming restaurant and bar. I saw that they had clam chowder and I had to try it. It was the best clam chowder that I have ever had! It was so great that I had to... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
