Another great meal at the capitol grill!! Mimi our server was so attentive and personable and made a great meal even better with her service. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

from the moment you enter restaurant you are greeted and professionally accommodated. Reservations where in order and we were allowed to pick our seat, although a noisy group subsequently were seated next to us,but our waiter was professional, efficient & low-keyed.So it was decent atmosphere despite the constant hew-haw laughing by a heavy driver in the group. we ordered fish appetizers that... I have dined at several Capital Grille locations. This was the first time at this new location and they did a beautiful job. The wait staff is exceptional, the food less so. Cocktails are strong and worth their price. We had three different salads to share among 5 adults and one shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were not as large as... More

I have been here twice now and both times had the same question/impression; if a steak is good, it should not need any dressing/rubs! You should not need to cover the taste of the meet with some sort of a sauce to make it better. I have tried the Kona steak and the bone-in fillet and they are good but... More

Luxurious, very good food, service and wine-list. It's an experience to do if you love steaks, but not only, and you are in Boston Back Bay...

I loved the ambiance and friendliness of the staff. Very accommodating. Was early for reservation, but we were seated right away. ALWAYS MAKE RESERVATION IN BOSTON! Wine and drink list now on an iPad. An interesting idea, but by the time you figure out how to navigate and the server explains in detail, it's annoying. I would still rather view... More

Pretty sure they moved recently to Boylston street so make sure you know where you are going. The food while a bit pricey (you knew that right) is excellent and the staff is helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Definitely a good place for a business meal or special occasion. Really liked the Kona preparation on my steak.

I was visiting Boston for business and was invited for the Capital to celebrate with a client. The meal was amazing. Can't say how much I enjoyed everything. The restaurant was very luxurious and the waitresses as well, leaving you with nothing but slicing your steak and feed your eyes with absolute perfection. Their side dishes are also great! couldn't... More

We took 16 clients here during a annual convention. It was incredible! I cannot imagine anyone giving this an average or less rating.. The variety of food offered, the quality of food, and the service was superior! All 16 guests raved about it... I will be making reservation here again next year without a doubt..well done Capital Grille! Thank you!

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
