We had dinner at the Tamo on our first night in the hotel, mainly because we were tired to head downtown. It is actually a nice restaurant, lively without being too loud. Service was efficient but I guess the lady waitresses were too tired to...More

We got seated at a prime table with a view of the pier across the street and all the things that were happening during the "sail boston" events. The staff was friendly and prompt to take our drink orders. We were never rushed as we...More

4.5 starts, rounded up to 5. I ate here twice while staying at the (Seaport) hotel. Had king salmon entree both times (excellent). Includes a potato dish that is, somewhat oddly, seasoned with diced pastrami. Since the pastrami was more fat and gristle than meat,...More

As our restaurant for the evening didn't do dessert, we stopped off here on the way back to the room. Staff very friendly, and the desserts were really yummy, and beautifully presented. Glad we stopped.

Had a business lunch here today. The service was good, very nice atmosphere. I had the scallops which were fantastic, came with zucchini noodles and a good amount of spice. My lunch mate had the beef rolls and they were great.

As you'd expect for a hotel cafe. Open windows and pleasant bright furniture feel cheery, staff pleasant, food very good. Takes forever to get served or for a server to return. Mandatory 18% tip even for a party of 1 on top of pricey cost.

Nice to have this option in the hotel as weather was crappy during our stay so no need to go out. Service was pleasant.

Located in the lobby of the Seaport Hotel, Tamo offers a variety of seating areas to allow you quite conversation or more lively action. The beer is cold, the food is good and the servers are friendly.

Nicer than the usual hotel restaurant, Tamo is a comfortable, pleasant place for a meal. The menu has regional inspired dishes, with a mix of old favorites (like clam chowder) and newer cuisine (a quinoa roasted squash salad). Our food was all very good and...More

Peak-A-view
There will be 3 adult females. We arrive at the Boston airport @ 6:00 Pm on Sept. 11th & board a Holland American cruise on the 12th. We need transportation to the hotel & also the cruise port. Public transportation would not be practical because of the luggage, unless there are cabs or vans available? Also do you have a good restaurant in the hotel? Most reviews suggest getting an ocean view, so requesting that.
