Recently picked ump a fewer up cakes as a family treat. The selection was somewhat limited. The cupcakes did not live up to the reputation. Less than great cupcake(dry, bland, unpleasant consistency) with mounds of too sweet frosting. And the price was too much vs quality of product. In my opinion.

These are wonderful cup cakes with a huge variety. Bring a friend to double park while you dash in as parking is a problem.

Visited this shop on a whim looking for gluten free cupcakes. Was disappointed to find they were out of gf cupcakes, but did have gf brownies...which was definitely the best fudgey brownie I've ever had! Boyfriend had a regular French Toast cupcake which was also pretty great. Cute little shop, definitely a must try.

I don't know what the hubbub about this place is. The cake is dry and the icing is gobbed on and too sweet. You'd best be served somewhere else.

Whilst in Boston, everyone should visit this shop and try their delicious cupcakes. They have a great selection - including vegan and gluten free options. The shop is mainly for take-out, although there is a small table if you wish to eat-in and enjoy a coffee/ tea with your cupcake (or two...)

In comparison with their reputation, I was let down by my cupcake. I had the chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing. This was a stop on a chocolate tour I did. Maybe it was the flavor we got on the tour, but It was an average cupcake. I have had better cupcakes in my local town at half the price.

My husband and I love cupcakes. We were excited to go to Sweet Cupcakes. However, both my husband and I were VERY DISAPPOINTED. The cappuccino cupcake was very dry and the icing was different - not a buttercream at all - and too sweet. I actually threw most of it away, and I never throw out cupcakes. My husband's lemon/blueberry... More

I had a Peep cupcake. The icing was great but the stump was so-so. I feel it had a funky flavor...? As odd as it sounds my cupcake stump tasted like water(if that makes sense)? My friends said their cupcakes were fine, when they tasted mine they agreed it had and odd flavor.
