We attempted to go twice. The first time we went we didn't heed the warnings, get there early to put your name down. We went at 7 on a Saturday and there was already a three hour wait. To their credit the restaurant did call us three hours later and offered us a table. We went back for lunch on... More

Oysters. Many varieties that you request with a card. They order the oysters based on you order so you know where they came from. Delicious. Also had raw stripped bass that was amazing, along with shrimp and grits. Put your name down, drink at a nearby bar and get ready for some real seafood.

Really good quality seafood. From oysters to lobsters. Lobster tacos were great. Bear in mind you will have to wait before seated because place is small

The burger with fried oysters was totally worth the 1.5hr wait in 20 degree weather. Lobster roll was also delicious. Very nice environment, friendly staff and cold beer. The clam chowder was good but a bit runny. Enjoy!

Sat at the bar. Service was quick and efficient. Be aware, super popular so leave your name and they'll call you when they have seats available! Great time...enjoy the oysters, won't disappoint

We stopped by Neptune Oyster to try their lobster rolls after reading trip advisor reviews. The restaurant is small and they don't take reservations, so pop in before you're hungry to get yourself on their wait list. The wait times seemed to vary between 30-90 minutes. We didn't mind though as we wandered around little Italy waiting to get our... More

The food here is very good. The oyster selection is impressive. They only resturant I have ever seen stone crab at of side of FL. I commercial fish and I will tell you the seafood quality is legitimate. The staff is hit or miss. Some really bad and some sweet and helpful. I found the waiters to be rude, unhelpful... More

Read all the reviews for this place and glad I did. Take the advise of the prior reviewers. Go about 1 - 2 hours before you really want to have your meal, put your name in and they will call you. We went on a Saturday evening, put our name in around 5:30 and it was a 1 hour wait.... More

You have to wait one hour minimum at 4 pm, in the middle of the afternoon outside from lunch and dinner time, in order to get a seat at the bar, not even a proper table. This was no surprise, we knew it in advance and we had no problem with it. But given these premises we expected an excellent... More

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
