The Columbus Group owns many great restaurants and a boutique hotel in their hospitality group. Sorellina is a FABULOUS regional Italian restaurant with a contemporary design. I do have to say that our server, Alba, made the evening more special as here every recommendation was masterfully chosen. If you are honored by having Alba serve you ask her about her... More

Our server, Tarso, was a big plus in navigating both the menu and the wine/drink list. He really steered us well. We opted to sample some half size pastas along with the Veal saltimbocca and the cod, both of which were delicious, especially the veal. I had a great special nesgroni cocktail which was an interesting take on the classic.... More

Sorellina is my go to restaurant for special occasions birthday, valentines, anniversary. The food is too die for, the atmosphere is warm and elegant. Frankly I am always impressed by the quality of service and food here. Their selection of wine impeccable. Sometimes i go at the bar just to have an order of Polpo and a martini :)

If you want to have really good first class Italian food in a classy environment with excellent service this is the place to go. Constant attention of staff on service, classy atmosphere, and very, very, very good food. It is not cheap but to European standards good value for money. Celebrate something and go and have a bite. It is... More

We enjoyed our business dinner here. The tuna, salmon, pulpo appetizers were all excellent. Endive salad is nice and light. Oysters on the half-shell were very fresh. The men all are the milanesa and loved it! My gnocchi with lobster was fine... not amazing. Loved the eggplant side! The chocolate dessert was the best one we ordered. Service was a... More

I love Sorellina so I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the preparation on our last visit. Service is always top-notch but the $44 pork dish was overcooked and bland. Unfortunately for my friend, I snatched one of her wagu meatballs to compensate.

My husband and I visited the Boston MFA and walked to Sorellina's from there. We had a drink at the bar, which was nicely decorated, very neat and well-staffed. We were seated at a quiet table at our request, and our water was immediately filled. Our waiter came within 1 minutes to give us menus and tell us the specials.... More

Five of us went to dinner at Sorellina on a Tuesday night. What to know? The food is fantastic. I can highly recommend the halibut, but the people who took the branzino were also very happy. All the first courses were superb. Nice wine list, and the ginger Torta was a really, really good dessert. Our server (Mark) was superb... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
