I'm gluten free and I still urge folks who can eat it to go here. They were on vacation a few weeks ago & there was a clipboard of well wishes and tearful goodbyes from the neighborhood. The best scones bar none! and Fabulous sandwiches

All pasteries are marvelous, both sweet and savory, get more than a couple. The quiche of the day is usually interesting and yummy. The cannale are worth the trip just by themselves but they sell out fast. Sandwiches are great and the staff is always...More

I really like this cute little bakery in Jamaica Plain. Stopped there to grab a sandwich for lunch. Returned the following day. Yummy!

A neighborhood resident recommended we check out Canto 6. Washington Street can seem a bit dicey, but the coffee and pastries, and nice service at Canto 6 were well worth checking it out. The croissants were nice and fresh, coffee drinks well prepared. There are...More

I am living 10 minutes away and it is very easy to park on the street and grab one of the best sandwich in Boston. You should pick any of them and you will win. Well explained menu board, fresh veggies and meets in your...More

This little bakery and coffee shop near the Green St T-line was a wonderful delight. You can split the sandwich for 2 people and still have room to indulge in terrific scones and sweets. We tried the 3 sandwiches over 2 days and were very...More

Canto 6 is a tiny corner spot in Boston's increasingly hip Jamaica Plain neighborhood. It seats maybe ten people and does considerable takeout business. It's easy to blow past this spot thinking it's a beauty parlor or a nail salon. Don't. This is fresh, inventive...More

Had breakfast at Canto 6 last Saturday. It's a small cozy place with only a couple of tables, but with an excellent selection of sandwiches and pastries... It was very difficult to choose between all those delicacies as everything looked so delicious. I ended up...More

Drove to the city to try this bakery after someone recommended. Lunch on a weekend and nothing left, so we never tried their croissants, which was the reason we came for. Ordered Green St & North End sandwiches. Green street in a baguette is interesting...More

Canto 6 is a small cafe, sandwich and baked goods shop. It bakes its own bread and baked goods. It does orders by phone for pickup. The sandwiches are always tasty as are the baked goods. Not quite as good as Ula Cafe, but it...More

This Boston neighborhood feels like a distinct
community unique and separate from the bustle of other
areas. Beautiful Victorian homes, restaurants with an
emphasis on being eco-friendly and providing local and
organic food, and a large Hispanic community. Visit
Centre and South streets for restaurants, cafes, and
little shops. The Arnold Arboretum is a beautiful,
large green space well worth a visit if you venture to
