I love this place. No lines ever and the people here are fabulous. So nice and down to earth. The cannolis are great and also the homemade bread and cakes too. Run here if you want no line and great cannolis.

This is the best way better than the big fancy bakeries in my opinion and its 24 hours. The best cannoli! Great sandwiches. Great cookies. You can't beat Bova.

I have been going to Bova for years and have never had a bad experience. The cannoli are the best in Boston.

This place is a few blocks over from Hanover Street, but it's worth the walk. Pastries are delicious. They also have rice balls and sandwiches. Small place located on a corner, not long lines, great service. Give them a try. You won't regret it.

Love Bova's! I usually drop in for a take-out arancini (Italian fried rice ball) or two. Can't always find them everywhere and Bova's versions are tasty. Also love their sandwiches - nice quality Italian cold meats and the bread is fresh and toothsome - always a winner!

Great spot for quick good food. Arancini, Stromboli, desserts all fantastic. Also they are just about always open even after a late night of partying or during the day.

Open 24 hours a day so get your Grey bread coming out of the oven early in the morning. Great breads, pasties cookies and iotjer Italian goodies

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
