We were in San Diego for spring break. When on vacation we typically try to find place we don't have at home to eat at. This was a nice little place. When I say little I mean really tight space. The staff was super friendly and the food was good. We would definitely go back the next time we come... More

This little "hole in the wall" will delight you. It will give you the mom and pop type feel and fill your belly well. Great breakfast, great service. Make sure to try the rubarb jam on toast and the apple butter jam on the pancakes ! Delish :) ,parking can be a hassle...but welcome to San Diego

We've been going to The Huddle for over 20 years and I've never been disappointed with their friendly service and quality food. The crab cake Benedict is consistently good. Dan and David compete for who makes the best Hollandaise sauce and I'l have to say...... it's a tie. (-: Everyone who goes into the restaurant is made to feel like... More

My husband and I went here for breakfast spur of the moment and we're pleasantly surprised. It's a small diner with a good atmosphere. We were fortunate enough to be there with some locals who were friendly, along with the staff. Not to mention the food was delicious. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and it was the best... We don't normally go to diners, but we had an early day planned and The Huddle was open by 6:30, so we figured why not. As its name suggests, the Huddle is a cozy little diner. It's a narrow building, tables along one wall, and a counter that seats about 10, with the cook (and owner) behind it - so... More

Came here for breakfast on my birthday with family. The gentleman taking care of us was very friendly and a jokester, giving us all some good laughs. We were visiting from Phoenix so he gave us recommendations on things to do while we were there. Food was great. The restaurant is small, so don't expect something grand or magnificent. Expect... The Huddle seems to have been transported to San Diego from small-town America in an age long gone by, and we love having breakfast here. The friendly staff knows the eating preferences of their many regular customers, and for many also what is going on in their lives. But newbies are absolutely welcome and made to feel comfortable. For us... More

Had a pleasant lunch dining experience here. Nostalgic style décor that is reinforced with numerous celebrity photos and mid-century signage. Food was served reasonably quickly by a pleasant younger lady. Portion size was sufficient as was quality.

This is where the locals go. Old fashioned diner with table or bar seating. You can even watch your food prepared if you sit at the bar. Had pancakes, eggs and bacon...were all great! The manager or owner that waited on us was friendly and brought us three homemade jams to try with our meal. A person at the bar... More

Had breakfast at this joint and it was packed. This local diner is one of a kind. Not enough seats and room for the crowd and reminiscent of the old small town Mom n Pop diner, this joint serves good food and seems to be popular on a Saturday morning. Admittedly, this may not be the choice for some as... More
