Wanted to try something new and not sure how I feel about it. It was really dead when we came in which is ok as long as the service is good. When we arrived we greeted immediately and seated. Once seated we were greeted with...a smile by the server. We began asking questions to which she let us know that she had only been there a week so didn’t know all the answers to the questions being asked. It’s ok to be new so that wasn’t the issue. My issue was that we asked for an appetizer and she offered to bring chips and we said sure. It’s a Mexican restaurant so we didn’t think anything of it. It came out and the salsas were delicious as was the guacamole; which I was surprised about since we didn’t ask for guacamole. We ordered the rest of the food and although I had to send back the steak because it wasn’t cooked to requested temp, which was corrected quickly, everything was tasty. When we got the check I noticed we were charged $13 for chips and guacamole. I wouldn’t normally mind paying but I wish it wasn’t made as if it was included and then charged. I didn’t complain and paid for it but it just seemed as a very deceptive way to increase the bill.More

Slim staff and uneven service made our trip here very underwhelming. We had a party of 20. The appetizers were good and came out quickly. The drinks were hit and miss and many didnt get what they ordered. Our main meals came out sporadically and...I finished eating before half my colleagues had even gotten their food. And it was even more embarassing when one colleague didnt get their meal at all. There was an apology and then that meal arrived well after everyone was done. Overall, just not a great experience.More
