The charm & hospitality shown to us by Umberto & Corey in the Grant Grill is world class. The restaurant & lounge, staffed by the best that hospitality has to offer, delighted our pallets in chambers set with cosmopolitan ambiance & subdued with an easy vibe. We ate here twice during our stay. We enjoyed the bar menu, craft drinks,... More

The Grant Grill is a hidden gem tucked away off the elegant lobby of The US Grant Hotel. From hearty breakfasts to delicious lunches to afternoon indulgences to elegant dinner to lively music and drinks, this dining spot has something for everyone. The service is impeccable, the food is cooked to order and delicious, and if you're lucky, the in-house... More

I had Mr. Alberto's special fall Apple Harvest festival tasting menu $82 with the optional wine and drink pairings. $39, Chef Mark Kropczynski has a well-earned reputation for excellence. This was an expensive meal, but if you're looking for a gourmet dining experience, the price is well worth it. The service is always friendly, and the food is always amazing.... More

We stayed at the hotel that is attached to this establishment. They have an amazing cocktail list and great service. We didn't dine here but the food looked amazing. It is close to the Opera. Definitely recommend to have an evening drink prior to dinner. The US Grant centennial manhattan was very good.

My husband and I stopped by for breakfast today. We normally frequent the Grant Grill about every month or so...I ordered the Croque Madame and my husband ordered French Toast with a side of bacon. We also had 2 glasses of orange juice and 2 coffees. Total price with tip was 71 dollars plus change. The breakfast was fine, although... More

If you are enjoying downtown San Diego, CA stop by the US Grant Hotel. Their restaraunt Grant's Grill is top notch! The food is great and the service is excellent. Great for an anniversary.

Perhaps this was just a bad experience... Bad luck... Food and atmosphere were excellent. Unfortunately the server was not helpful in helping us male choice: all he would say is people order this or that. Service was hovering : filling glasses of water constantly as soon as someone had two sips, ready to take plates off as soon as someone... More

The family had a private room reserved for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. The experience was wonderful. The staff was attentive, friendly and very professional. Everyone found their meals to be excellent from a simple burger and fries chosen by the kids to various seafood dishes ordered by adults. The head waiter was highly attentive and helpful in coordinating the... More

We enjoyed a round of house invented cocktails that were truly unique and quite good. We ordered some appetizers and they were artfully presented and delicious. Only issue was that the bartender forget to serve our second round, so we quietly decided to skip them and paid our check. I didn't really want to pay $47 for forgotten cocktails. Don't... More
