The one thing about Old Town San Diego, there is no shortage of Mexican restaurants. I think there is one on every corner. Decent food. We ordered 2 pitchers of sangria. Taste great. Didn't realize they were $34 each. That will run up your bill.

Good food! Service was a little slow, but we were in the Sunday lunch crowd. The cheese queso dip is delicious.

Standard Mexican food in a Mexican style restaurant. Unique interior. Lot of trouble is taken with the interior & exterior appearance. Lots of plants & colourful flowers outside. Watch the guys at work in the kitchen. The Sculpin grapefruit beer was a first. Went for Miguel's plate. Filling but not so special. Service reasonably quick. Free car park outback &... More

Good food and service in this old town restaurant. Menu is varied with some good specials. We didn't book but about a 5 minute wait.. Ceviche was lovely and fresh tasting, carnitas tasty and filling.. Salsa and cheese dip on arrival is also good..

This is my 3rd or 4th time here. We came back for the great calamari strips. They don't have the dinky rubberized most places do. Service was a tad slow or I'd give 5* but will definitely be back next time I'm in town. Excellent fish tacos too!

Old Town is always so busy and everyone seems to go to the same restaurant but they don't realize that Miguel's is just as good if not better! You don't have to watch someone make tortillas to know that the food you're eating is going to be fresh and authentic. The service is impeccable! I have been here twice now... More

Good Mexican. Usual nachos, salsa and cheese sauce, very good cocktails had a mixture of different margaritas. Very filling food, can highly recommend the carnitas. I had pork. They came very quickly and were delicious. Good gluten free options also. Very good price too.

If you aren't desperate to see people making tortillas in the street window then try Miguels as an alternative. It's right across the street from the obvious popular choice in Old Town. Great outdoor seating, really nice food and good service without the queue to get in.

My family and I enjoyed our dinner at Miguel's. Everything was delicious, the service was excellent, and we sat outside and had a great view on a beautiful evening. We decided to go with tacos this evening. I had the swordfish tacos and they were very flavorful. The portion of swordfish in the taco was generous. The bite of my... More
