We always try to stop at Dixie Cross Roads when I'm the area. Not being a fish eater I have the chicken but, husband enjoyed the cod. If they just served corn fritters I would just come for them.

The place have a charm all on its own. The food was delicious... except was not impressed with the broiled shrimp. Should have had the steamed instead. The rock shrimp was good and like eating mini lobster tails.

We do not. We now have a 'sides menu' from which you can choose--baskets come with one and dinners come with two sides. We do however still have a 'soup of the day' and baked potato as options.
