Delicious seafood can be found at this casual eatery. Seafood is rather pricy on the Cape, so this isn't a cheap family outing, but we always enjoy eating here. Just be prepared to wait, lines are very long during the summer all through the evening.

We have been going to Moby Dick's every summer for years and years. Get there before 6 pm if you don't want to wait in line. BYOB which is just fine with me. We've tried almost everything on the menu and most of the fried food is good. Generous portions and good service. I wish they used fewer disposable plates,... More

We hoped for a good meal and I ordered Fish n´chips. Turned out it was served on a paper plate and the tartar sause was in a sealed box. Like the one you get on Mc D :(

We have enjoyed Moby Dick's for years as it right down the street from our family home. Once summer gets into full swing, the line for seating gets very long, so plan on being there before 6. Seating is tables and picnic tables indoors, and there isn't usually a long wait if there is a medium-sized line. You are able... More

Went for the "famous" Wellfleet oysters -- which were good, but honestly, not spectacular. Seating is family style with long tables and picnic benches -- not very comfortable for someone who likes to have a back on a chair. We must have come at the best time because we did not have to wait for seating. You order when you... More

When you can find parking you park and then get in line to enter the restaurant. As you are waiting on line you read the menu and decide what you want to eat. When you get to the head of the line you order, pay, are seated, and wait for your food. Its an efficient, pleasant process. The food is... More

The best for lobster + seafood. Get there early so you won't have to wait in line (which is not to long). You can eat up stairs in the open scened in porch or down in the closed in dining room. If I don't eat there when I go to the Cape I don't feel like I went to the... More

Three of us visited Moby Dick's in late Sept. We had only a short wait until we were seated in the inside area (at our request). After being seated, the service is minimal. This is the way the place functions; it's very serve-yourself. One places one's order at the cash register and pays, and then is seated. Your get your... More

This is an interesting place to eat. The wait staff are from all over the world and wear their country of origin on their name tag. If you want an alcoholic drink you need to bring your own though (didn't know that when we decided to go there). The food was very good. Go early as there is usually a... More

It’s vacation time on Cape Cod! You and your family want to have lots of fun and eat some fresh seafood. Family owned and operated since 1983, Moby Dick’s is THE Cape Cod seafood restaurant for friends and families to meet, eat and just have a good time. Taking the New England clam shack to a new level, we will offer you and your family a great experience. We may not be full service, but we deliver great service. The freshest seafood, the best lobsters, Wellfleet littlenecks, Wellfleet oysters, Chatham Cod, fried clams and clam chowder are just a few of the local items we serve up daily. We aim to be the best. Kid-friendly is our middle name. We have a large Kid’s menu not to mention some fun coloring sheets as well. We welcome guests needing a gluten-free menu. We love large groups, small groups, any group. We would be delighted to host your special Cape Cod event. We are a BYOB establishment so grab your favorite beer or wine and head right over. We look forward to meeting you! Open at 11:30 am everyday for lunch and dinner from the first Friday in May to Columbus Day.
