We ate here one evening. The food was freshly prepared and was very tasty. I loved it but my partner found it too spicy so we didn't go there again. But if you like hot spicy food, freshly prepared then give this place a try.

I love Mexican food !!!- Especially Chile Rellenos. I travel across the Southwest a lot and try many different Restaurants in different towns and I was so surprised to discover this wonderful little place just outside the entrance to Capitol Reef National Park near Torrey Utah. The Chile Rellenos were the VERY BEST I ever experienced! The exterior coating, the interior cheese,the... More

This is not your typical Mexican food place. Food is just average and not spiced well. I had the pork tacos with salsa verde. The salsa verde was minimal and the dish was very wet. There were no other additions to the tacos making them uninteresting and bland. The rice and beans were good. Especially liked the beans spiced with... More

Nice people. Food was varied but to mild for my taste. My wife liked her shrim taco ( that's how it appears on the menu).

The broken barrel planters full of weeds and cigarette butts, should've been a warning. The food is tasteless. The mole is not as good as what you can get from a jar and the pork in green sauce was insipid. I would've given it one star excepted the waitress was very friendly.

We ate here after hiking at Capitol reef. While some web sites mention wine is available, the night we dined it was not. One couple walked out after learning that.. As mentioned, there is only one person covering the floor, so service can be slow. There were about 5 other couples there when we dined. We started on the chips... More

Guacamole was excellent. My husband and I shared chicken tacos. They were yummy. The hostess was charming and the environment authentic.

I have posted about this restaurant before but just wanted to say it is still the same great owners and food. Fresh Brewed Iced tea and nice wait staff. The restaurant is connected to a convenience store/ gas station with the Affordable Inn located behind. Extremely handy for travelers.

Not a lot of choices on Torrey, but this place was decent. I recommend the guacamole and the carne Asada burrito. Service was excellent.

Restaurant staff inefficient . Food below average. They lost two parties for not seating while we waited for our food. Only six tables were occupied !!! Waitress did not offer options or desert.
