We have a family vacation in Texas / NM touring National Parks. We actually got one of our best meals in Carlsbad, NM at the Trinity Hotel. My husband had the Chicken Piccata and said it was terrific. My daughter had the Penne with sausage and was equally impressed. I had the filet and found it tasty and tender. I... More

We are on a two week road trip and this is the best meal we've had yet. I had the Manicotti with a side of vegetables and my husband had Chicken Florentine. The food was good, the price was good and the service was quick and friendly. We would definitely come here again. Note: last night we ate at Yellowbrix... More

I'd recommend ribeye, surf-turf, clam linguini, and salmon. We tried all. The chef pays attention to details. My kids love the kids menu item: spaghetti and Alfredo, I can see local people love this place. They also have a well-thought menu that can suit all your needs. Breakfast pastry is super-delicious too. Very friendly and attentive service too!

I recently ate here while staying in Carlsbad. We were super happy to hear about the free wine tastings on Sat nights. The sangria, malbec, and chenin blanc are fantastic. For dinner we had the goat cheese appetizer which was so good we bought the sauce in the front gift shop. The steak, chicken parm, and chicken bolloco were all... More

Slow service, so so food, expensive, and they charge an extra twenty dollar to my credit card after I already left a 22% tip.

We are very sorry you did not enjoy your experience on Valentines day. Both my husband and I were there the entire evening and we would have immediately taken corrective action had you spoken with us at the time. The adding of the gratuity is completely inexcusable and we can remedy that situation immediately when you bring in your receipt... More

Quick stop in Carlsbad on our return home to San Antonio. Read reviews on TA and asked the locals about restaurants. The Trinity was highly recommended. We just spent the last week in Santa Fe, did not have a meal that held a candle to the one at this restaurant. The Halibut was great, and the chicken florentine was as... More

Delicious Dinner in a beautifully restored old bank. Served quickly. Friendly Waitress. Dinner for two was $55 with tip. Recommend. Would definitely eat here again.

This lovely hotel, in the best looking building in Carlsbad, has a terrific restaurant on the main floor. Beautifully appointed with high ceilings and updated garnishes. I had an enchilada that was to die for. I've eaten Mexican all over the US and Canada, and my wife and I agreed this was one of the best! Her club sandwich was... More

Wonderful historic setting with their own wine label. Romantic meal. Creative menu. We ordered angel hair pasta w vegetables and a southwest chicken pasta that was a signature dish. Both were superb. Highly recommend.

The Trinity offers a great option away from the cookie-cutter chains. The most friendly waitstaff and bartenders will offer suggestions and pair a New Mexico wine option. Skip the chains and try this fine eatery.
