Wondered about the name, but staff didn't know. Exceeded our expectations. Prime rib was the nightly special and it was delicious. Blackened catfish was a surprise. Absolutely enjoyed it. Would not dream of whining.

Good menu selection of decent food. I had the meat balls and spaghetti, very tasty. My wife had a tuna sandwich which she enjoyed.

The prime rib was rare and tender. The summer pasta dish was fresh and tasty. The salad was a little tired and the chicken soup was too salty and spicy. However, the chocolate tart made up for the negatives.

We stopped here for dinner based on Trip Advisor reviews. I had the Salisbury Steak and my wife the meatloaf. The meatloaf was so-so with little or no flavor. The Salisbury Steak was a complete hunk of mystery meat. This consisted of two hard little patties with what looked like fake grill marks. This reminded me of old time TV... More

No knife needed for the tasty and tender chicken fried steak. Very good value and good service. Go and get you some!

When we drove by this restaurant, we just had to try it with such a great name! Like any diner, it has a lot of basic menu options. The food looked great and tasted good. Not great, but good. The portions are large, so we were glad that we had shared a fettucine dish. It was fun to read the... More

Reasonably priced. Good service from nice people. "Seasoned" (instead of Senior) pricing so could get a smaller meal. Had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. Good meat and potatoes. Cream gravy was peppery, but ok. Not up to Texas standards, but still, a good meal after a long day in the caverns. Wanted to try the dessert pies,... More

We had the special, meat Lasagna in the seasoned adult portion. Incredibly good, still a generous portion served with soup or salad. I had salad with homemade chunky blue cheese dressing, my wife had cream of chicken soup. We also had a loaf of wheat bread, still warm from the oven. Our server was very attentive without hovering, all the... More

After a long drive from El Paso, the No Whiner Diner was the perfect pick-me-up! The prime rib dinner was delicious and the green chili soup was excellent!!!! Big portions at very reasonable price! Warm bread on cutting board was a nice addition. Everywhere you looked there were funny signs and decorations. Wait staff was very attentive. Don't miss this... More

This place is a hole in the wall restaurant. It would be very easy to keep on driving and go to Chili's instead. Do not miss this! It is located in an old building in front of an old motel that has probably been around since the 50's, and was probably never the nicest place to stay. The restaurant is... More
