The size of the restaurant is deceiving, as it was much larger than I originally thought. It's actually quite large. When you first walk in there are a few tables by the bar, but then it extends into a nice sized dining area. We were...More

That's a place that does not know if they should do tapas or normal dishes. You end-up with large(r) tapas but definitely mains prices. General quality is very average, patatas bravas over cooked, chorizo of low non-spanish quality, generally "Blah" ! Actually the place is...More

Food here is really nice. Came for dinner and there is a good range of tapas dishes. Slightly overpriced but the dishes are quite big. Vibe is great. Really buzzing. Had to wait about 20 mins for a table but this wasn't a problem as...More

I had the Sala BLT for lunch, which is made with Iberico bacon, which is delicious. The baguette was crusty and nicely toasted, and the staff could not have been more welcoming. A nice option in this neighborhood!

The place is really over-priced. $16 for the Pinchos Morunos (two small lamb skewers) is a bit ridiculous. Happy to spend well when at a place like this but the other dishes are only 'reasonable' so just didn't really make us want to order more....More

I was having dinner at Sala One Nine. The pulpo a la gallega was absolutely delicious, the spanish tortilla too simple. The tuna salad as any you can have on a menu in Madrid and the gambas al ajillo too spicy for me. It is...More

As a "regular" customer, I visit at least once a week, I absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I've been a customer for the past 7 years and NEVER have anything less than a spectacular meal! The tapas, salads, and sandwiches are always delicious. Everything is made...More
