Having never been to a Korean bbq place, I didnt know what to expect. We got a selection or beef, pork, chicken and seafood. It came to the table raw and was cooked on a grill in the middle of table. It was served with lots of dishes if different items such as kimchi. All fresh and delicious. Excellent.

We visited this restaurant with friends/family and was the first time we had eaten Korean food. It was fantastic, cooked on a hot plate in the centre of the table. We did have someone in the party who had eaten there before so knew what to order, but the staff were very helpful when selecting dishes that went together. We... More

Well I love Korean BBQ and had it many times in different cities and countries. Taste wise I found it rather plain and boring as well as it does gets very expensive if you're on an empty stomach. But that's my personal opinion. If it's your first time, just go ahead a see yourself if you like it.

My daughter, 10 yr old grandson & I wanted to try something that we had never tried before & this restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel. The staff was kind enough to seat us, even though we didn't have a reservation & they were very busy. Our server was very sweet, although there was a bit of a... More

Great BBQ, on table, with a friendly staff. Large menu that has everything to please, I've dined here a few times and never had anything that wasn't amazing. Every time I come into the city, this is on my destination lists!!

We visited this Korean barbecue restaurant on our very first night in New York City and it was a great end to the day. We landed around 17:00 and having checked into our hotel we headed straight to the Empire State Building and once we'd done that we went to Madangsui as I had booked us a table earlier that... More

With the recent popularity of Korean BBQ restaurants, I advise anyone to visit this place as it represents the classic Korean BBQ experience that I grew up with. It may not have the cache as a newer place like Kangho Dong but it serves solid food with perhaps even better service.

I would give them no star if TripAdvisor allows that. First off, the servers were incredibly rude, trying to rush us out of the restaurant while some of us were still eating. The food tasted okay, but got its revenge on me later that night. Something I ate there was bad. There are enough amazing, restaurants in New York, you... More

Had a huge craving for Korean while in NY on business. Visited here to get take out simply because it was closest to my hotel. Great food, quick service and decent price. Happy customer!

We were on a tour with a lunch stop. Food was great, fast and very healthy. Lots of food for the money. We got the bulgogi box. Lots of sides, music soup included plus dumplings.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
