Sometimes it's hard to be impressed with a place that everyone is talking about and has opened many locations across the country. I want to assume the taste or excitement of the original has faded somehow as production scales up. That is not the case with Momofuku. We had the vegetarian ramen and was sad when the bowl was empty.... More

I went here in the middle of the afternoon to miss the long wait times that happen at night. I sat at the counter and had a delicious Momofuku Ramen with a poached egg and pork belly. I washed down with a cold Tiger beer. The meal was amazing, the pork belly in the Ramen was perfect. Service was good,... More

been meaning to try this place for years. The broth a bit subtle but good, the appetizers great, the room was fun. Lunch was great over all

We went to Momofuku on a week night and waited about 45 minutes for a table for two people. Make sure you arrive right on or shortly after opening time at 5.30 - we were there by 5.45 and it was full and already a long wait list. The problem with the wait is a lack of waiting area... There... More

Somewhat of a ramen maven. My daughter and I are from the the West Coast and eat ramen frequently. Momofuku's ramen is not the best ramen I have had in the States but it is very good

Came here with my husband at lunch time and we ordered pork belly buns and ramen as a place recommended by everyone. They did not disappoint! Excellent quality and taste.

I can honestly say it was one of the best meals that I've ever had. I got there just before their afternoon closing so the bartender was rushing me through fairly quickly to get my meal in. I had never been there before so he gave me some great recommendation, I went with the momofuku noodle dish which was spectacular.... More

Momofuku exceeded my expectations. The Brussell sprouts were insane! I had the Hozon Ramen as well, and it was the best ramen I have ever had!

I was brought here by a friend who lives in the city, and it was incredible. I tried the pork buns, which were absolutely delicious. It is a small portion however, so you may need to order something else with it. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A busy place but efficiently and friendly run. With very good food for a decent price. Will definitely come again when I visit New York again. Lot of different people inside. Hipsters, Asian, tourists, etc. Which made it a real New York experience for me.

Staying in East Village

Neighbourhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighbourhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
